Black Forest Labs (https://blackforestlabs.ai/) is a cutting-edge startup pioneering generative image and video models. Our team, which invented Stable Diffusion, Stable Video Diffusion, and [FLUX.1](https://blackforestlabs.ai/announcing-black-forest-labs/), is currently looking for a Senior Account Executive to help us scale our commercial org. We are looking for candidates with outstanding execution skills and a high level of strategic thinking. Black Forest Labs is a product first company striving for technological excellence across teams. We expect you to not only have a great passion for but also a solid understanding of foundation models for image and video generation, their business applications and related sales motions.

The role:

– Independently manage and close deals of varying size, ranging from early stage startups to large, multinational organizations
– Build and maintain relationships with existing customers, driving retention and expansion
– Efficiently qualify inbound leads and manage a growing pipeline
– Design and execute efficient B2B sales strategies across diverse client segments
– Help define and refine commercial playbooks and processes
– Identify scaling opportunities for commercial operations and implement scalable and efficient sales processes
– Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, applied research and legal

Ideal Experience:

– Outstanding experience in commercial tech sales with a proven track record of managing complex sales cycles
– Enthusiasm for foundation models and generative AI technologies for media generation, and familiarity with their business applications
– Proven ability to close strategic deals and scale a large pipeline efficiently
– Experience in negotiating and executing commercial agreements, working closely with legal and technical stakeholders
– Strong account management skills with ability to create long-term customer relationships in a competitive environment
– Hands-on mentality – you should feel comfortable managing both strategic accounts and day-to-day sales operations
– Excellent communication and collaboration skills and an open mindset that’s amenable for critique
– Ability to thrive in a fast-evolving environment and contribute to building scalable processes

Nice to Have’s:

– Early stage, high growth startup experience
– Prior experience with business deals around diffusion models for image and video generation
– Prior experience with B2B API and model weight licensing sales models
– Passion for open source software and prior experience in open source business models
