AMN Healthcare
Performs adult transthoracic echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms and assists in transesophageal echocardiography in accordance with established practices and procedures. Provides preliminary diagnostic evaluation and notifies cardiologists of results of examinations. Consults with cardiologist to establish requirements for non-standard examinations and determines technical factors to satisfy requirements. Associate Degree or two-year technical Certificate. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in performing diagnostic echocardiograms. Current knowledge of ultrasound equipment, spectral doppler and color flow echocardiography, scanning technique, acquired and congenital cardiac anatomy and physiology. Able to recognize pathology so as to record diagnostic images. Key Boarding Skills Ability to maintain standards of patient care **Ideally seeking candidates interested in temp to perm opportunity.
