ECS is seeking a Cybersecurity Solutions Architect to work in our Arlington, VA office.
ECS is seeking a Cybersecurity Solutions Architect to support a diverse portfolio of federal client engagements and to facilitate the execution, and delivery throughout the Cybersecurity Lifecycle to ensure fulfillment of the product vision and maximize the customer experience. This position supports our National Security customer, in the delivery of Cybersecurity products and services.
This role will be customer facing and lead all technical aspects of product implementation including requirements analysis, negotiation, and management; solution design; security/hosting architecture and implementation; test and validation; and deployment. The candidate will work with a team of application, infrastructure, and security SMEs to configure, deploy, and validate a solution that meets customer requirements. A successful candidate will proactively seek ways to improve upon designs and optimize the number of requirements that can be demonstrated within a set schedule. The candidate will ensure solution scalability, portability, maintainability, and security across environments.
This role will involve coaching teams toward optimizing development, testing, documentation, and delivery of our solution. Additionally, the candidate will have a deep understanding of technology implementation within the Government space and be capable of lead and/or building proofs of concept to demonstrate functionality along with supporting technical documentation. Motivation to explore problems to find creative solutions and grow existing skillsets is key.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Bachelor’s degree
- Must have the ability to acquire Public Trust Suitability.
- Demonstrated experience with CISA’s SCuBA initiative, including the Technical Reference Architecture (TRA) and Secure Configuration Baselines (SCBs), to guide secure adoption of cloud business applications
- Proven ability to design and implement secure architectures for SaaS platforms, specifically Microsoft 365 (M365) and Google Workspace (GWS), aligning with SCuBA’s secure configuration baselines
- Hands-on experience with tools such as ScubaGear and ScubaGoggles for assessing and aligning M365 and GWS configurations with SCuBA’s security baselines
- Skilled in employing secure configuration management processes to ensure systems and architectures adhere to organizational cybersecurity guidelines
